Write a Poem on Someone's Soul



Life is about touching others. Maybe with a kind act, or a kind word. Maybe with a kind expression, or a kind smile. Maybe with a kind touch.

When you connect with a person’s heart, you experience love.

When you connect with a person’s mind, your intellect sharpens.

When you connect with a person’s soul, you attain nirvana.

As Krishna said:

Yours and mine; big and small – erase these ideas from your mind. Then everything is yours and you belong to everyone.

Reach out to others and the universe will reach out to you. Be the first to smile. Be the first to greet. Be the first to shake hands. Be the first to hug.

Be your ego’s master. Don’t let it rule you. When you go on an ego trip you ultimately reach a dead-end. Instead take a journey beyond the skies - by holding someone, by helping someone, by hoisting someone.

Create your own heaven on this earth. You need only good deeds to do that. We feel thrilled when we buy a house and the bigger it is, the better we feel. Imagine having your own paradise.   

When you are lost in darkness, light a candle in someone’s heart.

When you are unable to think, find a place in someone’s mind.  

When you are down in the dumps, write a poem on someone’s soul.

The Lady in Red

Yesterday after my morning prayer, I went for my 30- minute walk. My wife did not accompany me because she preferred the warmth of the bed to the cold outside. Usually, she does. I did not take the path that I normally take every day. The road was deserted and not a soul was in sight. I walked briskly, determined to do a certain number of steps within the time that I had. Zaidis and Wastis

                                                         Many people believe that Zaidis and Wastis are two separate surnames. The truth is that it isn’t. Zaidis and Wastis hail from a place in Iraq called Wasit. Wasti is actually Wasiti but over time, it became Wasti. They are descended from the fourth Imam Ali bin Hussain, also known as Zain-ul-Abedin. His eldest son’s name was Zaid. Hence the name Zaidi. These people are Sayyeds meaning they can trace their ancestry to the Holy Prophet.
