7 Signs that Show Your Husband Loves You




With time, marriages change. The initial heady days of the honeymoon period does not last forever. At some point in time the couple settles down into an easy relationship. A bit of give here and a bit of take there. And the marriage continues. But with the passage of time comes uncertainty, a vague feeling of doubt.

The wife has this thought: ‘Does my husband still love me?’ This blog will make an attempt to answer that question. Here are 7 signs to watch out for. If your husband displays all or some of these signs, then he loves you. But if you are unable to find any of these indicators, then please do not conclude that he doesn’t love you – maybe he has other ways to show you that he loves you 😊.

Sign No 1

Publicly he is proud to be with you. He will hold your hand. Wherever not possible (in certain society), instead of holding your hand, he will be with you. He won’t abandon you. If the gathering is separate for ladies and men then that’s a different story. But if it is a common one, then he’ll sit with you, or as near as possible.

Sign No 2

Men and women have different interests. A loving husband will show interest in all or some of your interests. He will go shopping with you (giving you his credit card or money is not the same because some husbands just to get away from their wives will gladly give their credit cards and money). He will go to gatherings and parties with you because you want to go there, and not he. In short, whatever you love to do, he also loves.

Sign No 3

When argument happens, he doesn’t wait for you to approach him. He doesn’t have that false ego of being a man. Instead, he makes the first move. He will reconnect with you without bothering to find out who was right and who was wrong. In a strong relationship, there’s nothing right and wrong – there are only different points of view.

Sign No 4

He will discuss with you before making a decision regarding investments, holidays, or any other matter.  Your opinion, advice, suggestion is precious to him.

Sign No 5

You have access to his phone, whatsapp and facebook - he has nothing to hide from you. He is like an open book for you.

Sign No 6

He enjoys spending time with you. So together with you, he’ll watch TV, listen to music, walk, go to buy grocery, help children to do homework, etc. Togetherness provides rhythm to marriage. So, if he loves you, he’ll find ways to be with you.

Sign No 7

He likes when you are dressed well. And he tells you. And when you are not dressed well, then also he tells you. He prefers you to be well groomed all the time. So, when your eyebrows are getting a bit out of shape or your upper lip has those odd hairs sprouting, he will immediately tell you. This means he is noticing you.

    Another sign to be added if your husband gives his credit/ Debit Card for shopping will be a bonus that he loves her utmost

Don't Be Afraid to Dream

While reading a book* I came across this line: What you want and what you get are usually two entirely different things The author painstakingly states that we may want the whole world in our grasp but we may end up catching nothing in our fist. It isn’t necessary that what you want you will get…in fact it may never happen.  I agree with the line but not with the writer’s assessment about it. The Lady in Red

Yesterday after my morning prayer, I went for my 30- minute walk. My wife did not accompany me because she preferred the warmth of the bed to the cold outside. Usually, she does.
