A Story in Novels
Adam
Bede fell in love with A Girl on the Train who was a cousin of Emma.
But Adam Bede was oblivious of American Psycho’s obsession for
her. American Psycho made A Girl on the Train, The Prisoner of
Zenda. To free her, Adam Bede sought the help of The Last of the
Mohicans. Together, they walked The Road, crossed The Secret
Garden, climbed The Magic Mountain and reached where A Girl on the
Train was held captive.
But
there they had to solve The Riddle of the Sands and fight with Frankenstein.
Once, they were able to successfully do both, they met The Mayor of
Casterbridge, who used his influence to arrange their meeting with A Girl
on the Train.
Adam
Bede’s eyes lit up when he saw A Girl
on the Train. He immediately gave her The Notebook in which he had
expressed his sentiments for her. She read about their Love Story, their
rendezvous Under the Greenwood Tree and their experiences with Fifty
Shades of Grey.
Tears
dripped from her eyes. She said, ‘Adam, these few days have been like One
Hundred Years of Solitude for me.’ Adam Bede held her hand
and said, ‘The Vulture is a Patient Bird. Like the vulture, we have to
be patient. I will take you to The Garden of Eden, that’s a promise. Tonight,
Tender is the Night, be ready for The Long Walk. It’ll be A
Walk to Remember. ‘
They
managed the Hard Times as they made their way through Eye of the
Storm, until they reached The Last Place God Made.
Adam
Bede married A Girl on the Train in 1984.
