Ideal Lover (Male)


                                               

Yes, an ideal lover exists. But he is not so easily found. In today’s fast-paced world, his breed is vanishing. But as long as women’s dreams keep getting shattered, the ideal lover will survive and thrive.

The ideal lover is not every woman’s fantasy. Women passing through a crisis - be it personal, professional or hormonal - favour the ideal lover. There is a specific reason for it. The ideal lover is a master at creating an illusion. He is adept at building castles in the air and exactly the way the broken woman wants.

The ideal lover is patient and persistent. He gives time to the woman, focuses on her disappointments and disillusionments. He offers her hope. He is the light that can brighten up the darkness in her life. He gives her attention, listens to her, and paints a rosy picture for her.

He makes her believe that she is always on his mind. To him, the physical imperfections don’t matter. She can breathe freely in his presence. He makes her feel like a princess, a goddess.

He holds tremendous power over her because he elevates her. He even touches her soul by stirring the spiritual in her. He rebuilds her ruinous life by converting the moments into memories.     

The crisis-hit woman falls for his perfect romantic ways. She gets on a platter what she wants from this man to ease her worries, and thus surrenders to him. The ideal lover has trapped another victim.
Anything that seems too good to be true, actually, is.
Beware, the ideal lover is only a seducer.

Don't Be Afraid to Dream

While reading a book* I came across this line: What you want and what you get are usually two entirely different things The author painstakingly states that we may want the whole world in our grasp but we may end up catching nothing in our fist. It isn’t necessary that what you want you will get…in fact it may never happen.  I agree with the line but not with the writer’s assessment about it. My argument is that: We may want a 3BHK apartment but instead we may get a penthouse. We may want to become a millionaire but instead we become a billionaire. We may want to become an officer at the time of getting the job but instead we end up becoming a CEO. The writer has only echoed Nida Fazli’s sentiments Kabhi kisi ko muqammal jahan nahi milta Kahin zamee toh kahin aasman nahi milta  I ask ‘Kyuun nahi? Why not?’ We limit our own self. The Lady in Red

Yesterday after my morning prayer, I went for my 30- minute walk. My wife did not accompany me because she preferred the warmth of the bed to the cold outside. Usually, she does. I did not take the path that I normally take every day. The road was deserted and not a soul was in sight. I walked briskly, determined to do a certain number of steps within the time that I had. It was dark and the wintry breeze was making me shiver. I thought of the cosiness of my bed and for a moment was tempted to abandon the walk and go back home. But commitment is commitment.
