Fortune favours the brave but Kane Williamson was not favoured, despite showing exemplary bravery.

Hard work pays off but Kane Williamson’s hard work was not paid off.

Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out but for Kane Williamson things did not turn out best even after he made the best of the way things turned out.

It’s not the obstacle that counts but how you overcome it, but for Kane Williamson the obstacles remained, even as he made every effort to remove them.

When you can’t change the direction of the wind - adjust your sails. Kane Williamson did exactly that, and yet he was blown off.

Preparation + Attitude + Opportunity + Action = Luck. Kane Williamson prepared, had the attitude, made most of the opportunities that came his way, was in action all the time, but Luck still deserted him.

Only you can control the future, but Kane Williamson couldn’t.

Never give up. Kane Williamson never gave up. Yet, success eluded him.

If you can dream it, you can do it. Kane Williamson dreamed, yet he couldn’t do it.

Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it. Kane Williamson believed in magic but couldn’t find it.

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations, but for Kane Williamson it didn’t.

        Life is full of surprises. That’s the only FACT. Rest everything is bullshit!

The Lady in Red

Yesterday after my morning prayer, I went for my 30- minute walk. My wife did not accompany me because she preferred the warmth of the bed to the cold outside. Usually, she does.                                                          Many people believe that Zaidis and Wastis are two separate surnames. The truth is that it isn’t. Zaidis and Wastis hail from a place in Iraq called Wasit. Wasti is actually Wasiti but over time, it became Wasti.
