One Word – Feedback


                                                    
Two or three days back I had requested the readers for a one-word feedback for my blogs. Nearly 85% responded. The remaining 15% for reasons better known to them did not. Probably they wanted to save me the blushes. They do not like the contents and hence didn’t want to break my heart and so did not respond.  Thank you for not responding.

But the readers who did respond – hundred times thanks to them for the special word they picked to describe my blogs. Never before did these words mean so much to me as they do now. The Lady in Red

Yesterday after my morning prayer, I went for my 30- minute walk. My wife did not accompany me because she preferred the warmth of the bed to the cold outside. Usually, she does. I did not take the path that I normally take every day. The road was deserted and not a soul was in sight. I walked briskly, determined to do a certain number of steps within the time that I had. Zaidis and Wastis

                                                         Many people believe that Zaidis and Wastis are two separate surnames. The truth is that it isn’t. Zaidis and Wastis hail from a place in Iraq called Wasit. Wasti is actually Wasiti but over time, it became Wasti. They are descended from the fourth Imam Ali bin Hussain, also known as Zain-ul-Abedin. His eldest son’s name was Zaid. Hence the name Zaidi.
