How to Impress Women


                                                     

Impressing women is not a difficult task. Many men think that women are unpredictable, mysterious and demanding, and therefore impossible to please. That’s not true. But yes, there are certain golden rules that all men should follow. If men don’t adhere to these golden rules then they can forget about impressing women. The rules are:

a)     Don’t be after her (the moment a woman knows that a man is after her, she will lose interest in him)

b)      Never use vulgar language / pass lewd remarks (it puts them off)

c)      Don’t stare at her (never, never, never)

d)      Never praise another woman in her presence (no one likes competition, right?)

e)      Don’t try to dominate / control her (a separate discussion can be had on this because in certain arenas, they love domination, but not in the ‘impressing / wooing’ stage)

If men strictly follow the above stated golden rules, then they are half way through to making an impression on the woman of their choice / dream.

To impress a woman,

1)      Make her laugh – that’s the number 1 requirement. Men who have good sense of humour can excel – but remember, humour should be clean and classy. Crude and crass humour will not work. The more the man makes her laugh, the more she will want to spend time in his company.

2)      Compliment her – man should do this every time he meets her and he should do it sincerely. There’s a difference between praise and flattery and women are smart enough to know the difference. Don’t think that men can fool them. Here and there, you may find isolated cases, of women succumbing to flattery, but in general, they don’t, But, if men sincerely admire anything about them, they’ll love it. Men should praise their qualities more than their appearance.

3)      Dress smartly – if men don’t know how to dress then they cannot impress. Always when meeting them, men should be elegantly dressed. Right clothes can create a flutter in a woman’s heart. The more flutters a man creates in her heart, the easier his job becomes.

4)      Maintain eye contact – Men should make them feel as if they are drowning in their eyes. If a man can’t make a woman feel that he is drowning in her eyes, then what’s the use of wooing her? That’s the minimum prerequisite to impress a woman. When a man looks into her eyes, she should feel that only she matters to him.

5)      Communicate with looks and gestures – men should let women know through their looks and gestures about their feelings. Words should not be used to convey the same. The more a man keeps a woman guessing, the more she’ll be tempted to know what he feels for her.

6)      Create an aura – women find men with a reputation of being liked by other women, irresistible. Somehow the man should be able to convey to the woman he is pursuing, that other women have found him interesting and desirable. But this should be done very subtly.

7)      Shower attention elsewhere – if man finds that the woman - his subject of interest - is playing it hard, then he should immediately divert his attention to her sister or close friend. This will stir jealousy in her heart and she will start responding to his overtures.

Don't Be Afraid to Dream

While reading a book* I came across this line: What you want and what you get are usually two entirely different things The author painstakingly states that we may want the whole world in our grasp but we may end up catching nothing in our fist. It isn’t necessary that what you want you will get…in fact it may never happen.  I agree with the line but not with the writer’s assessment about it. My argument is that: We may want a 3BHK apartment but instead we may get a penthouse. We may want to become a millionaire but instead we become a billionaire. We may want to become an officer at the time of getting the job but instead we end up becoming a CEO. The Lady in Red

Yesterday after my morning prayer, I went for my 30- minute walk. My wife did not accompany me because she preferred the warmth of the bed to the cold outside. Usually, she does. I did not take the path that I normally take every day. The road was deserted and not a soul was in sight. I walked briskly, determined to do a certain number of steps within the time that I had.
