-Can like Brahma create you, like Vishnu sustain you, and like Shiva destroy you

-Has the ability to make or mar your day

-Knows the difference between sycophancy and genuine praise

-Is like the Line of Control – you don’t know which side you should stay on

-Cannot be corrected because he is never wrong – but you can disagree in an agreeable way

-Sits on the hot seat because he knows when to turn on the heat on you

-Is like the children, whatever you do for them, they keep asking for more

-Is like the wife, impossible to please

-Is also human but people generally forget this

-Expects miracles and you should be able to perform miracles, otherwise he doesn’t need you

The Lady in Red

Yesterday after my morning prayer, I went for my 30- minute walk. My wife did not accompany me because she preferred the warmth of the bed to the cold outside. Usually, she does. I did not take the path that I normally take every day. The road was deserted and not a soul was in sight. I walked briskly, determined to do a certain number of steps within the time that I had.                                                          Many people believe that Zaidis and Wastis are two separate surnames. The truth is that it isn’t. Zaidis and Wastis hail from a place in Iraq called Wasit. Wasti is actually Wasiti but over time, it became Wasti.
