Ignore the Small, Small Things
Words
become meaningless when life assumes meaning. The train that stops at all
station can also run fast when it has to. If you expect the unexpected,
something will surely happen. Talk to the birds and see their response. Don’t
take seriously all that people have to say. Kuch
toh log kahengae, logon ka kaam hai kehna.
Being
alone is a luxury. When provoked, imagine Buddha laughing. The mind is at rest
when you are at peace with the world. Ignore the small, small things; instead
focus on bigger things like talking to the person who has backstabbed you,
calling a long forgotten friend, doing a good deed without even your soul
knowing about it.
The
salmon is a swift swimmer but many times it goes straight into the grizzly’s
mouth. Know when you have to change your pace. If you are on top today, don’t
forget the people whom you have left behind. One day they may be standing at a
higher altitude than you. Then don’t say that they have become arrogant.
If
I had to choose between morning and evening, I would settle for happiness. The
rest, as they say, can follow.
