Kissing

Kissing is the most neglected act in a relationship. Where is the time for such leisure? The world is moving at a hectic pace. We have forgotten how to kiss. But without kissing, relationship will flounder. A kiss is a statement of love. It is the barometer to gauge where your relationship stands.

Sylvia Plath said, ‘Kiss me, & you will see how important I am.’ When you kiss your partner, you are telling her (not him because man is the main culprit) how much important she is for you. It doesn’t consume much time. Before going to office, hold her and kiss her, after coming back from office, hold her and kiss her. And then when you retire to bed, you are free to kiss her as much as you want. But mind you, kissing is not time-bound.

Nothing gives a stronger message to your spouse than kissing. Ask any woman. Men may not give too much importance to kissing and may deem it as overly sentimental but the fact is that it is important and not overly sentimental. It is the best way to express your love for her. A study shows that men are more particular about which women they kissed than who they went to bed with – this clearly indicates that kissing is more about love than sex is.

But do keep in mind that when two people kiss, more than 10 million bacteria are exchanged. Yet, it is worth taking the risk!
