Let There be Divali Always

Life is Divali. Celebrate it with sparklers and diyas. From here to there can be covered in a jiffy or may take an eternity. The mind responds only if you are persistent, otherwise it dozes. People who are too sweet may infect you with a disease which may be life threatening. The one whom you help may cause you more harm than the one whom you refuse to help. All laws are meant to be broken but some if broken may land you in hot waters. The other woman is interesting because you are showing interest in her. If you ignore her, she would be as dull as a post-box.
Divali is not a yearly occasion but an everyday affair. When your parents bless you, it is Divali for you. When you hug your spouse, it is Divali for both of you. When the children run about the house, it is Divali for the whole family. Divali is not a festival but a state of mind. Be a daredevil when it comes to making a difference to someone’s life.
We are all on visit visa to this world but we act as if we have been granted citizenship; on expiry of the visa we have to leave at once, there is no extension. Who knows this maybe the last Divali that we are celebrating? And if it is then why not celebrate it in a big way? Why not make every moment a Divali?
Let’s clean our hearts and souls. Let’s look in the mirror and give a clean chit to ourselves before pointing fingers at others. Let’s focus only on the good in others. Let there be Divali always.
